What the Newcastlesys dashboard delivers

The Newcastlesys dashboard is a configurable reporting surface that pulls live data from your connected tools and presents it in widgets you define. You choose which metrics sit above the fold — whether that's monthly recurring revenue, active support tickets, inventory levels, or all three. Each widget updates on the cadence you set: real-time, hourly, or daily. The layout uses a clean grid system that works on desktop browsers and looks sharp on a second monitor in a team meeting. Colour-coding follows our indigo-tech palette, so at-a-glance status reads are consistent and unambiguous. You won't mistake a red alert for normal noise.

How it works from day one

After you connect your first data source — which typically takes under ten minutes using our guided connector flow — Newcastlesys suggests an initial dashboard layout based on the source type. A Shopify connection surfaces orders, refunds, and average order value. An Xero connection surfaces cash position, aged receivables, and upcoming bills. You can accept the suggestion, customise every widget, or start from a blank canvas. Dashboard templates for retail, professional services, and SaaS operations are included in all plans. Team members can each set their own default view without overwriting shared dashboards.

Dashboard features worth knowing about

Drag-and-drop builder

Rearrange, resize, and stack widgets without writing a line of code. Changes save instantly and sync for every team member who has view access to that dashboard.

Threshold alerts

Set a floor or ceiling on any metric — say, daily sales below $2,000 or support queue above 50 tickets — and Newcastlesys sends an alert via email or Slack before you notice it yourself.

Shared and private views

Each team member can pin a private dashboard for their own daily focus while the shared company dashboard stays unchanged. Permissions are role-based and managed by your account admin.

Scheduled PDF exports

Send a snapshot of any dashboard to stakeholders every Monday at 8 AM — formatted, branded, and requiring zero manual effort from your team.

“The dashboard builder is genuinely the first one I've used that didn't require a help article every time I wanted to change something. I set up our weekly sales view on my own in about 20 minutes. That would've been an IT request at my previous job.”
